New construction

Little Hope-Moore W.S.C is currently in the process of constructing a new water production plant, Plant 3, located on FM 1653 and St. Hwy 64. This is part of an effort to increase our production capacity due to an influx of new homes and sub-divisions moving into our service area.

Along with the construction of this new facility, a seperate project has started in conjunction with the Texas Department of Agriculture utilizing their Community Block Grant program. This project includes installing new water lines from Plant 3 on FM 1653 and on St. Hwy 64 running both east and west. If your property will be affected by this construction you have already been sent a letter from us back towards the end of November. This will replace the aging lines currently in use, while also updating and fixing other issues like non-functioning valves in the distribution system. Towards Canton an eight-inch main line will be laid on the south side of the highway, and towards Ben Wheeler a six-inch line will be laid on the north side of the highway.
